Region Selection

Hello to all Max users

Region Selection

It is the fastest way to select multiple objects. Just drag the window around the objects you want to select. Every object inside the window is selected.
There  are two basic methods:
Selection by Window- When we select by window, we must surround objects completely in order to select them.
Selection by crossing- When we select by crossing, we need only to cross the edge of an object in order to select it.

Selecting objects

Hello to all Max users ,
The most basic way to select objects is by clicking them. When you select an object by clicking other objects become deselected, unless you hold down the Ctrl key at the same time. So to add objects  to selection, press Ctrl & click an object ,, And to subtract an object from a selection, hold down the Alt & click on the object

Objects name

3ds max automatically assigns name to objects based on the object type & the order in which it was created. e.g the first, second & the third box that you create will be named box01, box02, & box03. After you create your objects, it is helpful if you assign more descriptive names so you can find them more easily when your scene gets more complex.
