Refine option of Editable Spline is used to add vertices to a spline.To use this command just click on a spline where you want the new vertex to be added.

Chamfer option of Editable Spline
Chamfer option is much like the Fillet option except that the corners are replaced with straight line segments instead of smooth curves.It creates an angular corner on a spline and maintains hard corners.To use this command either drag on a vertex or enter a chamfer value.

Fillet creates a rounded corner on a spline or where two edges meet. To use this command either fill the fillet value or drag the vertex.

Outline option of Spline
OutLine option of the Editable Spline creates a duplicate copy or the offset for the selected spline by an offset value or by an amount specified by dragging . The center option creates an outline on either side of the selected spline
